Why the Trust chose Zircadian The Trust initially thought that band 3 payments were inevitable but had decided to meet with Zircadian’s Banding Appeals Team to discuss their issues before deciding on their next steps. During this preliminary meeting, the Trust discussed the issues surrounding the rota and the problems raised during the monitoring periods. The Trust also raised the point that it had never been involved in a banding appeal before and as such lacked experience in the procedural requirements for this appeal. During this meeting, the Banding Appeals Team noted numerous inconsistencies within the monitoring records and questioned some of the arguments made by the BMA, and advised the Trust that its position was defendable. The Trust decided to take on Zircadian’s support in preparing and presenting its case.
