North American Healthcare Provider turns to IBM® SPSS® Statistics to boost clinic performance and speed patient services All around the globe, nations are contending with medical costs that are rising faster than inflation and patients who are frustrated by long waits for appointments. One of the newest strategies for correcting these and other systemic ailments is evidence-based medicine. The highly touted approach aims to apply the best available scientific evidence to medical decision-making to ensure the best treatment outcomes. In 2008, a leading for-profit clinical healthcare provider decided to bring a rigorous, evidence-based approach to its own operations. "It's the old adage, what gets measured, gets done," says the company's director of clinical intelligence. Starting with three of its strategic rehabilitation clinics, the healthcare company rolled out a statistical analysis solution based on IBM SPSS Statistics. Since then, it has seen significant business benefits, including increased customer satisfaction; improved decision-making; and increased revenue.

Stripe commissioned Forrester Consulting to conduct a Total Economic Impact™ (TEI) study and examine the potential return on investment (ROI) enterprises may realize by deploying Stripe Connect, an offering that allows marketplaces and platforms to accept payments from and send payouts to third parties. Forrester’s interviews with four existing Stripe clients and subsequent financial analysis found that an organization based on these interviewed organizations experienced benefits of $6.1 million over three years versus costs of $1.3 million, adding up to a net present value (NPV) of $4.
